Asger Christensen is an Afghanistan specialist, with both professional and academic experience in South and East Asia.  He holds the degree of Mag. Scient. in Social Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.

Asger Christensen is an Afghanistan specialist, with both professional and academic experience in South and East Asia.  He holds the degree of Mag. Scient. in Social Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.

Christensen’s experience lies in rural development in both conflict and non-conflict settings.  Professional experience includes work with refugees and displaced persons, including rural rehabilitation programs.   He was worked with organisations such as the Danish Refugee Council and the World Bank.
