Sven Cederroth has been associated with Gothenburg University, and their Centre for Asian Studies.  From 1988 to 1997 he worked as a researcher at the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies in Copenhagen.  His expertise lies in Indonesia, Lombok and Java in particular, and in peninsular Malaysia.
